Chapter attends 2010 Province 24 Workshop

 On January 17 and 18, 2010, the chapter visited Camp Hopewell, which is where the 2010 Province 24 Workshop was held. There, Assistant Executive Director Jeremy Evans, with his many years of experience leading retreats to the national headquarters, led several brotherhood and leadership activities. Dr. Rolland Shaw also visited to speak about the Sinfonia Educational Foundation. Meals were provided by the Lambda Xi chapter at Ole Miss. The weekend concluded with a business meeting and officer elections. Province 24 voted as its new Collegiate Province Representative Drew Smiley of Lambda Xi. It elected Cory Duplantis of Lambda Phi and John Rue of Lambda Rho to be Assistant Collegiate Province Representatives. Ryan Case of Lambda Phi was elected to be the Province Fraternity Education Coordinator. Brother Evans helped the brothers from across the province to grow closer to each other, and instilled a good sense of fraternalism and leadership that the chapter will certainly use in the future.
