Chapter News Chapter members share Christmas music with retirement homes in Vicksburg
The Trio was inspired by Ossian Everett Mills, the founder of Sinfonia, to donate their Christmas Eve by performing at the Vicksburg Convalescent Home, Heritage Home, and Covenant Nursing Home. The ensemble performed traditional Christmas songs such as “Jingle Bells,” “Deck the halls,” and “O Holy Night.” The trio is looking forward to further music missions of this type during the following summer. |
On December 23 and 24, 2009, Brothers Austin White (Theta Upsilon), Steven Hugley (Theta Upsilon), and Brad Watson (Lambda Rho) embarked on a music mission in Vicksburg, Mississippi. The Trio began while the three members were in high school at Warren Central High School in Vicksburg.
