Chapter has a swap with Kappa Delta's chapter
by Greg Cobb
On Wednesday October 21st, a swap between the Theta Upsilon chapter and members of the Gamma Psi chapter of the Kappa Delta sorority occurred at Cleveland’s Markē Lanes. Just like last year, the swap proved to be a great success! The “70’s Disco Swap” theme was a huge hit as brothers took great joy in dressing up in their favorite seventies outfits and doing their best disco moves all night long. The company of the classy Kappa Delta ladies was thoroughly enjoyed by all the brothers of the chapter throughout the event’s two-hour length. Several Probationary Members attended the swap and got a glimpse of Phi Mu Alpha’s social interaction with other Greeks on campus. An impromptu “70’s Dance Contest” ensued in the middle of all the bowling action which proved to be extremely entertaining. This night also marked the first time since last April’s Multicultural Step Show, (in which the Kappa Deltas and Sinfonians stepped together), that the participants of that particular Step Routine were able to reunite and step again. All in attendance had a great time. After a night like this one, Theta Upsilon will always look forward to the next time it has a chance to be graced by Kappa Delta’s presence inside or outside of the swap setting!
